Course Technical Requirements

The following software/technical requirements will need to be provided by the school:

• Java-enabled browser
• Internet connection: Cable/DSL, T1, or other high-speed for multimedia content
• Memory: 64 MB RAM minimum
• Monitor resolution: 800 x 600 or higher
• MathXL Player (information will be provided in the course)
• Plug-ins: You need certain plug-ins and players from the MathXL Installation Wizard
• Macromedia Shockwave and Flash players (free download). Please use the following download ShockWave Full
• Installation of TI connect software, which is a free download or available with the Connectivity Kit listed below.

Course Materials

The LVS will supply schools with books, CD-ROMs, workbooks, and tablets.
The following materials will need to be provided by the school:

• TI Graphing Calculator: TI-83 Plus, TI-83 Plus Silver Edition or TI-84
• TI Connectivity Kit (often packaged with the calculator). This includes a GraphLink Cable and TI Connect software.
