Course Technical Requirements

The following software/technical requirements will need to be provided by the school:

• High-Speed Internet access (Cable, DSL)
• Scanner or digital camera
• Multimedia computer with internal and external CD-ROM drive and sound capabilities with internal or external speakers
• Microphone (one per computer)
• Headphones (one per computer)
• Microsoft Word (2000 or higher) or other word processing software
• Printing ability from each computer

Course Materials

The LVS will supply schools with books, CD-ROMs, workbooks, and tablets.
The following materials will need to be provided by the school:

• Tape recorder
• DVD or video cassette player and a television
• Art materials for hands-on projects provided by the student or school - one pack 8 regular Crayola or other brand color pencils, 2b or softer pencil, 7 sheets copier paper, ruler, scissors, 12x12 piece of aluminum window screen, miscellaneous fabric and notion scraps, permanent markers and/or any type of water based paint.
