LVS Facilitators

LVS Facilitator Accounts

Each school that is participating in the Louisiana Virtual School must identify a facilitator, an in-class teacher, counselor, etc. This facilitator will serve as the liaison between students and their online teachers.

Please Note

The Louisiana Virtual School is not a credit awarding institution. Credit is awarded through the school in which the student is enrolled. According to LVS policy, for year-long courses, a letter grade is issued each semester by the instructor and sent to the student’s local school. A mid-semester grade and end of semester grade is issued. The local school then handles all credits according to local policy.

LVS Grading Policy

The LVS will issue a “fall” recommended grade and a separate “spring” recommended grade. We do not issue a “final” grade in the spring for the whole school year. It is the school district's responsibility to combine the “fall” and “spring” grade in order to get a “final” grade if they so desire. All LVS students will start with a point total of zero for the second semester.
